New kit! Days Gone By! {and freebie}

Hi there! If you are wondering why I have been so quiet..here are a few good reasons....
1) Spending less time on the PC and more time doing other things
2) Designed a kit and took my time about it!
3) Been making, organizing and getting things ready for my dd's party hosting on Friday.

39 Elements, 10 papers and a alpha too!
Detail
the paper pack...you can buy it separately (10 papers)

I have a new kit, called "Days gone by". It is another Vintage inspired kit. I thought of a time when things were simpler, a time when childhood was carefree. A time when people smiled at you in the street, when they remembered to say thank you. Days gone by is about a time that doesn't seem to exist anymore. When things were laid back, simpler and real. When people wrote snail mail letters instead of emails and texts. When you took your kids to the park instead of Macdonalds. When it was safe enough to walk down to the corner shop instead of take the car. I should of been born in another era. I often feel like I just don't belong in this stressful , face-paced world. I belong in the time of Jane Austen and The Bronte Sisters, in a stone house on a hill overlooking rolling hills and daisy-covered meadows.

I would like to give you a gift today, a quick page done with this kit.

A room full of gifts {loads of lovely pics}

This was the show I went to on Saturday. It is called "Kamersvol Gesenke" which is Afrikaans for "A room full of gifts".

Set at the beautiful DeMorgenzon Wine Estate in the Stellenbosch winelands.
DeMorgenzon means "the morning sun". It has been around since 1699.

It is a beautiful wine estate and the wine is divine! They actaully play Baroque music 24/7 through out the vineyard as they believe it enhances the growth of the vines! It is really interesting their reasoning behind this and you can read about it here.
I bought a bottle of DZM shiraz 2008. If you can grab a bottle-it is heavenly. Here is a site
in which you can see the distributors for America.

Such amazing beautiful hand crafted things!! A feast for the eyes and soul and so inspiring!

I also wanted to share good news for fellow South Africans. I have set up my Setcom page now in Rands, so if you want to buy anything from me, it is all in local currency! (yay!)
See here. Be sure to check out the "arts and crafts"section for paper goods.

Paper posies

I have been busy making paper posies for my Etsy shop and have a few there now...

They are made with flowers, scrap paper, vintage paper, vintage sheet music, buttons, paper roses, glitter brads or jewel brads and lots of time and attention! Perfect for scrap booking, tags, cards or to use on a gift you wrap!

I am also excited as this weekend I am going to the Kamersvol expo.
It is an event that features on gifts, decor, clothing, food, handmade goods.
Take a look at these gorgeous photos here.
