Challenge starting soon!

Okay so Kari and I have teamed up together to host a
challenge for you.

It's going to be similar to the challenges Rhonna used to be, but of course our twist and take of it and original! You can do this if you are a digital scrapper, paper scrapper, if you paint, draw, doodle. There are no specifications or qualifications! First timers welcome too! Kari and I will be doing the traditional version: real art supplies. I think she is doing an altered book and I will be doing mine in my art journal. So we will be doing it along with you. There are no rules, except to have fun and enjoy the process!
What will you need:
1. A book to alter or blank book or 12 x 12 pages and embellishments etc
If you want to do it digitally, then your normal digital kits.
2. You need to commit to this, so you have to
sign up on my blog or Kari's blog before the 18th January 2007, it starts on the 18th.
The details will follow closer to the time, all you need to do is sign up for it, get your gear ready and be ready to start the 18th.
This Challenge will be a Hosted on a Thursday and a Sunday to give everyone enough time to complete each challenge.Thursdays will be hosted by me and Sundays by Kari.Post your links at the relevant blog.
The Theme of the Challenge will be a mixed one. It will be about delving into yourself. Pushing your limits of creativity, exploring, discovering, nature, wonder, and inspiration. Each day you will be given either a picture, a word, a sentence or even a link to check something out we found. How you interrupt what we give you is up to you. This challenge is about inspiring each other, learning, growing, stepping out your box and just about being CREATIVE. Kari and I will take turns to host the challenge, so you will be posting your links either on my blog or hers depending on who's turn it is to host the challenge for the day.
Remember you will need to link to either her or my blog with your link to the day's challenge so everyone can have a look at it and leave comments. You can do it on your blog if you have one, or stick your pictures of what you do on photobucket, flickr or a digital scrap site if you have a gallery at one. Or any other image hosting site.
I so look forward to you joining in on the fun, I promise it will be a journey!
So sign up after you finish reading this, commit yourself to it and come back on the 18th to begin.
Day one will begin here on my blog!
Note: I live in South Africa, so depending when I post my challenges, If I do it on the 18th at 4pm , it will be 10am for you. I can't say what time as that is the day my kid's start school again, so just keep checking, it will definitely be on the 18th though!
I suggest you check out these amazing sites to give you an idea of what art journaling/altered art is, maybe if you haven't done it before, now is as good a time to start as any.

Wow Bonnie! I love the new look of blog! It's so soft and inviting!

I have to pass on the challenge though... My dh and I will be venturing off to Puerto Rico this coming Sunday, so I won't be around to participate. It really sounds like fun too! But, I will check back to see what everyone has come up with.

Later Lor

This sounds fantastic!!! I would love to try and join in, but would definitely be more likely to make progress if it was several times a week instead of every day...

“You have been tagged

These are the rules to play blogtag:

-- List 5 weird things about yourself or your pets.
-- Tag 5 friends and list them.
-- Those people need to write on their blogs about 5 weird things, and state the rules, and tag 5 more people.
-- Don't forget to let the people you tag know by posting a comment on their blog!”

My 5 things are:

1. I hate, really hate one thing and I think I´ll never know why I hate it. It´s the color red (I mean usual red, ruby/wine-red or dark red is ok for me) in rooms (like curtains, pillows, walls…) and clothes. You´ll never see my wear red!! It makes me really agressiv!
2. I prefer angular tings, round things are not my favorites *lol* Does anybody have a car with angular wheels? I would love it!!
3. I´m highly sensitive!!! I see somebody crying, I cry with her/him – no need to know the reason why *lol* I see a movie, a dog is dying, I begin to cry… awfully!!
4. I love, really love oranges!! Ice cream, joghurt, milk shake, bubble gum…. - where´s the one with orange flavor??
5. I speak with my cat… not unusual?? I do think so, we both speak…, hm… let´s call the language “Cattish” *lol* She meows, I meow back or the other way. I´m stupid, what do you think?

Is there any psychoanalyst reading this? How bad is my mental health?? Please be honest ;)

My choice are Conny (http://www.connyscrappings.blogspot.com/), Mareike (http://majama-scraps.blogspot.com/), Tania (http://www.taniajps.com/), Sonia (http://daretoscrap.blogspot.com/) and Bonnie (http://bouncingbonbon.blogspot.com/)

Sorry girls, I´m too curious to see which things are yours!! *lol*

I would love to sign up too - do I just leave a message here? Can't wait to get started, must check the time zones and see how South Africa and NZ line up so I can note the days to check the blog into my diary.
