anyway enough of that! I am sick of it!
On Monday Jen and I went and met with Mari and a few of the other ladies from Snap and Scrap. We went to have lunch at Vergelegen Wine Estate.
Love how this turned out! you can even see their little legs!

Cape Dutch style architecture.

My lunch:Spring rolls with sweet potato and cinnamon inside them, on a bed of wild rice and fresh veggies-beans, carrots and mini corn on the cob. Really delicious.

The gang-6 of us met up for lunch. Jen is on the left (blonde) my sister and then Mari, Dianne, Meryl and Belinda. Ladies from Snap and Scrap.

A gorgeous gate.

Old trees

Here you can buy a picnic basket with the meal already packed and then go and sit in amongst the trees in the forest and have a picnic! Really gorgeous.

Some peacocks

Hydrangeas -such a lovely color

Just some pretty architecture, with the date 1816.

A little water way with reeds.

I posted these on my flickr account too. I don't know if I will get another chance to post before we go away. I am sure I will, but in case you don't hear from me from now until around the 10th Jan -you know it is because we are away. We plan to leave around the 2nd for a week. (caravan). But this weekend we are busy and next week will be sorting out all my documentation and then packing for holiday.
So have a great holiday for those of you who are taking time off to be with your families, I know for us here it is school holidays! yay.
See you!

Oh My WORD girl!! I feel you PAIN!! Had a few * mishaps* here too- like the whole house ransacked on my bday last year- they took everything! just the furniture was left! But we hadn't turned the alarm on and the dogs were left INSIDE!! My poor labby had a bashed up nose and a bleeding ear! Sending you major hugs! And our *goverment* departments are NOT the most efficient- Nathan applied for his ID in APRIL!! We are still waiting for it!! WHAT???? Anyway- the lunch looks STUNNING! Wow- now you making me sooo luss for some decent food- LOL. been takeaways the last 2 nights! Enjoy the holiday- we off in March! Don't get too burned!
