I understand the problem of getting back into things. I've found digital stuff a god send recently as I can be creative without having to find a clear spot that is safe from tinies and it's easier to work round a small child.

However there is something satisfying about doing these things physically too. I've always wanted to do an art journal and never known where to start so I'd be up for a challenge either for one of those or something else.. I might do it digitally I might not depends what it was.

Thanks for your recipe... sounds yummy.

Re your problem of what sort of blog to be doing... I would suggest that you dedicate a day to each type of thing...say Monday is art, Tues is digi, Wednesday is journal, Thurs challenge, etc... or however you plan things... but also be flexible enough to change things around if you don't cope.

I love your digi stuff but I mainly read your blog because you're from SA... local support and all.

You can find me at whatsupwithcathy.blogspot.com

Thanks so much for the recipe, but have pity on the Americano - what the heck is super-fine casto sugar??
Is it granulated or powdered, or something else altogether?

Yeah - what Sharon said! I was thinking it must be very finely granulated sugar, but wasn't sure :o)

I'm *totally* in on a challenge!!! I've actually taken a few months off of creating (something about being pg seems to suck it right out of me), but I'm just starting to dabble again. Once I get my craft room cleaned up, and have access to my paper crafts, I will be so happy! I can't tell you how much stuff is sitting there just waiting to be altered lol!

Thank you so much for the gorgeous add on - have a wonderful day!

OHHHH I love seeing your artwork (paper and sewing and all that). Please keep it on one blog it makes it easier to check one place then to search other blogs. Just yesterday while the kids were doing their arts and crafts I actually sat down and made a card with them. I too am starting to miss my paper scrapping. I think I'm going to make some cards now that I have it on my mind and try to get away from this computer. Thanks for the freebie and recipe. I don't know if I will join you in the challenge but I will at least get inspired and ooh and ahh over your work.

So, Bonnie, am I right in that basically what you're talking about is instead of using digi or premade kits, you're creating everything yourself? For real? From scratch? Like with real paints and pencils and other art supplies?

'Cos if that's the case, I'm BLOWN away. The idea never even occurred to me, and to be honest, I don't think I could do it! Like, I'm not "arty" or creative enough. You really have me curious, though, and I'd be seriously interested in following along, and learning more about it from you.

I love your blog. Very interesting. I really found it help when someone told me to blog for me, and not for my readers. That's what attracted my readers to the blog in the first place, you know? So, I would just blog about everything you've done in a day, or anything you want to record. It's almost a journal in itself...

Thank you for the lovely add-on! The kit is wonderful.

Thanks for this freebie, which I dearly love. I love all your freebies, but I read your blog because there's always something interesting here (OH! and thanks for the cupcake recipe, too!). As for a challenge - if it were versatile enough, I would happily join. I don't do ATC - don't have enough time to do all the scrapping I need to do - but an ATC on a particular theme, for instance, could be adapted for a lo on the same theme. Altered books - how about a scrapbook cover instead? I guess what I am saying is that art is where you find it, and doesn't have to exclude the digi or those of us with a ton of paper scrapping stuff still to use, lol! At any rate - life is too short so do what you love!! ((Hugs))

Very interesting reading your blog!

I really enjoy digital scrapping (less mess to clean up) but still love to make my own cards for family and friends and often make paper crafts with my little granddaughters. I have so many paper supplies to use up.

Thanks very much for the lovely add-on and the recipe for the yummy cupcakes.
