Stellenbosch : Toy museaum and Botanical gardens

Stellenbosch is always a favorite place of mine to visit. I just love this quaint little town.
It has such a unique charm about it, a quiet serenity and a bit of French Sophistication!

The strange thing is that even though I visit there quite often, I always find something I haven't seen before, be it a store, a garden, a restaurant- there is always something to explore!

My son went on a day trip with his class last year and they explored the Miniature Toy Museum and the 4 Historic Houses of Stellenbosch. So we decided to do this as well. First we went to the Toy Museum.

This is the size of an average egg and look at all the detail in it!

This is one of the models of the town.

Some of the many hundreds of collectable and original cars.

I just love Agapanthus!

The next lot of flower were taken at the Botanical Gardens in Stellenbosch.
These flowers are called "the Hold Lotus" flowers.

Inside of them!

I will show you some more photos of Stellenbosch as we went again to do the historic houses tour!
