I wanted to do this post as a sort of "Garden Journal".


I love gardening. There is something peaceful and relaxing about working with soil and plants and aching the next day-in a good sort of way!

April:
I planted my usual sweet peas. I did the tall variety and the dwarf this year!

Some Forget-Me-Not seeds...

At the beginning of April I planted some bulbs. My first time ever to plant bulbs!
I planted Freesia's...

As well as some Narcissus Daffodil's.

I watered and tendered to them very carefully and tenderly and a few weeks went by and nothing! I was worried that I had over watered the bulbs or planted them too soon. But one beautiful day, I saw a little green shoot peeking out from the soil! I was so excited I immediately texted a photo of it to one of my very good friends in the UK as she is an excellent bulb grower and has the most beautiful garden!


All are still alive and growing well and will update again soon as they have grown since I took these photo's!!
