Weekend Journal making

Hello there!
I hope you had a good weekend!

Friday and Saturday rained but yesterday was lovely weather...
But now I am sick. I was looking up home remedies as I react quite badly to most medication and so barely ever take something, unless I have a migraine. I do take homeopathic remedies though which work for my "delicate" system. So I read on the net this morning that Nasturtium is excellent for colds, flu, blocked nose etc. So I have been eating Nasturtium leaves all morning! Thankfully I love the peppery taste, reminds me a bit of rocket but without the nuttiness to it.

We spent yesterday outside...

soaking up the sun...

playing lego...

and doing crafty things...

I made two Journals for my husband's niece's who we'll see soon. They live in the States and we haven't seen them in 6 years. I bound the pages using coptic stitch and waxed linen thread

Inside cover

back cover

Here is what some of the pages look like:

Come back tomorrow and I will show you how to make this hard cover for your Journal!!

Your Journal could be a few signatures of paper sewn together using the Coptic stitch method, which is really easy! Follow this video, you'll soon get the hang of it!

Don't forget you have 4 more days left to enter the Giveaway!

Thanks for sharing your awesome talent with us Bonnie. I bought 2 ringbinded kraft books from Merrypak and they've been sitting on my shelf for a while now. I KNOW in my head what I want to do with them, but need to find the time. Thanks for sharing your stunning journals with us. They have just inspired me to get off my butt and do it...lol! Am so enjoying visiting you today.
