Ranunculus & crochet dish cloths

I adore flowers. There is just something special about a bunch of flowers in a pretty jug that tugs at my happy heart strings. I like most flowers, but I am quite fussy when it comes to what flowers I like on my table!
I love a loose, carefree bunch that looks like it was picked from a wild meadow.

Then I love roses. But not red roses, either peach pink or yellow.
I also adore Daisy's, they last really long too. I get mine to go for about 3 weeks. Good value for money.

I don't always have fresh flowers, maybe about twice a month.(lasting on average for about 2 weeks at a time).

My latest love in fresh flowers are Ranunculus. They are utterly gorgeous. For only R29 a bunch-also affordable. They last about 10 days. I love the way they change from small, tight buds to opening out into layers upon layers, like the tulle skirt of a ballerina.

I bought these yellow/orange ones a while ago, they lasted 12 days.

Last week I got these pink ones...they are still going strong after 5 days.

My other latest ♥ is crocheted dish cloths. I made some for the kitchen and I have got to say, they are the best thing EVER! I made mine out of Bambino yarn which is cotton and bamboo and is made here in South Africa.
They are so soft and absorbent and clean like a dream! I don't think I will ever go back to the normal dish cloth!

Of course, they would make great face cloths too.
I have already washed them in the washing machine too, there is no color running or fading at all. I am thinking of making some to sell in my Etsy store and was wondering if you could give some feedback. It would be so much appreciated!
Choose
I would like to buy them from your Etsy shop
I would buy from your South African shop
I am not interested in crochet items
I like the idea but wouldn't purchase

I don't know whether you got the message......it told me that the page does not exist. I would buy some of those dish cloths from your Etsy store.

I always use dish cloths, I can't get on with sponges or those Wettex cloths.

LOVE those flowers too!! I have fake ones in my bedroom, pale pink ones, but oh I'd love reall ones all the time. so pretty.
Love your cloths too, what a good idea.
I've seen lots of patterns and pics on pinterest but was a little sceptical about how useful and hardy they'd be.
I really need some new cleaning cloths so I think I'll make some up. I still have that ball of s.a yarn you sent me, so I will use that I think.
I guess they'd only be for washing up, not cleaning the bath or heavy duty cleaning!
Thank you for the inspiration.

i am discovering the toil of homework. My boys both hate it and I really struggle to get them to sit and get on with it.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what else you've made, I haven't made much, just a beret and scarf for myself, and struggling making mittens for the boys..because I'm silly and no using a pattern and trying to blag it! ha!
Anyway, I have really loved all your posts of late, so beautifully captured. cheers up these gloomy autumn days!
Thinking of you
Love Em Xx
