Custom orders: Crocheted Photo Frames

Recently I did a custom order for a client who requested 10 little crocheted frames. They are for her wedding. She is going to print out her table numbers and slip them into the frames and there will be one on each table. What a sweet idea! She wanted to be able to use them as photo frames afterwards and hang them on her wall. So I made them to be self-standing and afterwards she can simply take off the stand at the back and use a piece of the same yarn (which I included in her order) and hang them up. My crocheted frames have a perspex layer to slip your photo behind. It does the job of glass but is lighter, cheaper and not breakable!

Still enjoying our fireplace, as Spring is still a far-off mirage in the distance. August, believe it or not, the month before Spring, is our coldest month of Winter every year! We always get snow on the mountains, a massive cold spell with rain, wind, freezing temperatures and sometimes even hail. 

And lastly I updated my guest bathroom with new blinds I made. My bathroom has a nautical theme, but the previous blinds I made have been hanging for over 10 years and it was time for a change.
