In December last year (seems weird to say "last year" as it really wasn't all that long ago!)
We went to a little coastal town called "St Francois" about an 8 hour drive from where we live.
My hubby went there for work, unfortunately....so he was up at 5:30 most mornings and only back at 8:30pm. The kids and I spent our days on this glorious beach...5 days of sun, sea and sand...
It was good, but I think after a week of the beach I had enough! (we stayed in a B&B)
Flew kites...
on the other side was this beach..very rocky and it had nice rock pools so we set about catching some fish by hand.
Other than that week, we didn't go anywhere for the summer school vacation. But it was good to be at home, in the pool.To have a nice cool mojito and sit outside...
Aaahhh summer....
