Birdie Mini Journal

A sweet little Journal/notebook.
A once-off, unique little book! The Journal measures 15cm x 10cm
It has 10 pages (not including the Front and back covers) Graph paper, card, envelope, Bird illustration. The covers and pages are all pre-punched.

Each page is blank for you to embellish. Included are tags, paper flowers, envelopes to tuck things away, paper doily, tags, transparent pockets, stamps, mini clothes peg,Journal spots, trim, buttons, tickets and other hand made embellishments for that unique feel and look.

I know it's been a while since I last posted. .
It's been a whirlwind of activities but also I have been busily creating and upgrading my South African store.
Why don't you go and take a peek? I feel a lot more comfortable with it and finally have an order page and form set up. 

For my South African customers this makes life a lot easier! All you have to do is browse through the store and see what you would like. Then you go to the order form (found only on the front store page)fill out your details and tick the appropriate items you wish to order. Then click submit! Voila! I receive the email and check my stock and then get back to you with an invoice and payment details. Your order is dispatched via postal service within 2 working days once payment has been reflected.

I am now happy to announce that I am supplying beautiful Bakers Twine in my store! This is made right here in South Africa and is a lovely strong twine. There are quite a lot of colors to choose from and these are the colors I have in stock. They come in 5m little bundles but a larger quantity can be ordered if you so wish.

I also have a aqua and white,

little 1m samples on wooden spools(so cute as a gift!)

Other colors I can get are: black, brown, grey and teal.

I also have been making some gift tags that are currently in the shop. Gift tags are wonderful. So quick to attach to a parcel to add that extra pretty touch. My gift tags are handmade and layered. I use buttons, vintage fabric and washi tape and sometimes bakers twine.

I also have a gift tag set which would make a really cute gift on it's own or for you to make your own personalized gift tags.

weekend l Shop Update

The weekend was rather uneventful, but relaxing and enjoyable.
The light this time of year changing, taking on a peaceful, light and autumn feel.

We enjoyed spending time outside-swimming, working in the garden, having a picnic on the grass under the shade of the trees.

Nothing like a slice of homemade carrot cake and a cup of tea.

Little one reading out loud to me "The Witches" by Roald Dhal.

The cat joining us on our picnic...

Later, walking the neighborhood while the kids rode their bikes and I took photo's of interest.

Enjoying the sunset, catching some unique bokeh, trees and light!

And checking up on our bunnies...
