Freebie! photos! gifts!

I am so excited!!
First of all my camera is wonderful *gush gush* I know but I can't help it!! It is so wonderfully fast, clear, crisp, easy to use-I HIGHLY recommend it!! The functions, menu etc are so easy to figure out, you really don't even need the manual, just play around and that is the best way to learn! I even figured out how to use the self-timer today, such fun, I must admit, I had a little fun posing in front of the camera while it shot photo's continuously! *of course I felt a right idgit, so deleted them*
Here are some pictures...Disclaimer: in no way am I claiming to be a professional and this is a new camera, I am still learning...
This is taken from my study window, of a tree across the road, a very high tree! Amazing!
Taken from my kitchen window..it was raining today..taken through the glass.
A rose..click on it to view larger. In the full size photo, you can clearly see the dew drops and the little aphids in the rose.
Taken with the color select. You can pick a color and the photo will only pick out that color and the rest will be black and white. This is lavender in my garden.
One of my dearest friends of almost 10 years sent me this beautiful gift today! Thank you Em! I love everything sooooooo much-all stuff that is practical, that I needed and that is beautiful!! she knows I love roses and Cath Kidson products! I am so lucky and this made my day!!
Just look at how beautifully everything was wrapped too!
Then opened.. tea towels, bag, ironing board cover, bath goodies, lip balm, a mug, Irish cream truffles, a notebook and pen, oven glove and fridge magnetic notepad.
Beautiful bag of Vintage rose bath products
Cath Kidson lip balm!
A Cath Kidson bag!

Here is my modeling my new bag!
I played around with the color select again on this one, the jersey I was wearing was really pink as you see in the photo above!
Tea towels!!
A mug-the saying is so true when you are a mom!
The new tea towels and the oven gloves she sent me on my stove now! (I think i will take them out and hang them up only when guests come over or when I feel like looking at them-too pretty to use!)
and lastly my new and SO MUCH NEEDED new ironing board cover! *I had been using a towel on my ironing board!*

Now since I am in such a good mood today I thought to share another freebie with you...THANK YOU to all of you who left me comments for party girl! Art Journal pages

I did these 4 pages in my art Journal on Saturday night. I have been wanting to do something with these photos I took of my tour around my favorite little town. see this post...
And so I started on these pages...had fun!

The weather was nice on Sunday, so I made a tent outside for the kids..thought to share since it looked so cute, got some cute photos of them inside of it to scrap with!

This is my sewing machine..it is ancient but I love the look of it-loving vintage things and it sews so beautifully, I took it out on the weekend to make two little bags I promised Laura's daughter's.

I made a whole lot of these a while ago and had a give-away on my blog. See this post about it.

And this is a box I bought-it is really beautiful...a birdy on the lid..I am sorry about the poor quality photos..but my camera is broken and I have to use my cell phone camera! Not the best quality...

Anyway that is it from me! Would love for you to leave a comment if you stop by!
Have a great day!

Round Robin photo's:spoiler warning!

Some of you have asked to see more of the Round robin pages I am doing.
So here is my book, which has now been sent off to Dede..

cover of my book
First page, the tag pulls out to reveal the participants and their details of the rr, and my note to them:likes, and dislikes...
The tag I made (decoupaged it)

Second page...image from an anthropologie catalog
third page..pocket to hold tags and some ATC's I received that fit the rose theme.
Then these are the pages I did for Dede's book:
Dede has a Marie Antoinette theme for her book, so I printed out the poppet from my
Princess of Rock kit.
Lace, music paper, feathers for the hat, roses on the dress.
second page: lot's of layers here. Used an image of Kirsten Dunst off the internet, made some
cool mask glasses for her, cut out swirls and leaves off some paper, vintage button, lace, glitter M on the corner.
Third page: Doiley, ribbon, more layers of paper: heart, swirls,a shoe pic touched up with lot's of glitter for glam. I hope she likes them!
Next few days I will be working on Victoria's and Lori's pages....
Show you when they are done...
Go check out their blogs if you like vintage eye-candy, they have both posted gorgeous photos the last two days!
Bye for now!

Round Robin preview...Dede's...

Dede here are the 3 pages I did in your gorgeous Round Robin book!
Thank you to everyone who helped with the feedback I asked for. I discovered some things:
* Most people like the one blog for all thing, even if they prefer digi over art or visa versa, most agree two blogs is too much work (for them and me-I agree!) And they say they just skip the parts that don't interest them and read the parts that do! fine by me! I do the same!
*Most people like images more than the reading...I am attracted to images on blogs too.
*the blog post title needs to be interesting for them to want to look at the contents

So thanks guys!

Freebie-Cluster...and your help please.

Hi there, I would appreciate it if you could take the time to read this post before you download the freebie and run off-lol! I need your help. Thanks so much, you're a star!
It's school holidays...so that means being crafty at home. I like to get the kids making thing's, baking, going outdoors when we can. Today we tried a bit of fun things: finger puppets, some type of toilet-roll person thingy *can't think of an appropriate name*.

I also spent a lot of time cleaning and re-arranging...this is a small shot of my DD's bedroom....
all cushion covers and bed quilts made by me.

I was wondering who still reads my blog? If you check whenever I make a blog entry or pop by at least once or twice a week..please let me know by leaving a comment today. I am feeling sad as I used to get a lot of comments and now I am lucky if I get two comments per post. I know...whinge..whine...but come on! A girl likes to feel loved! :) And if you would kindly answer the questions below....

1) why do you read my blog?
2) What sort of things interest you/draw you to a post: is it the title, the images...the content...
3) What sort of things do you like to read about or see on blogs? (incl mine)
4) What would make my blog more interesting?? Should I post more arty type stuff?
5) Do you think I should start a separate blog...as you know I love digital scrapping but I also have a strong arty/crafty side and am always busy with some or other project, swap, etc-Should I have two blogs? What do you think?

Thanks a lot!
appreciate the time you take to answer these questions.

It's a bright sunshiny day!

Well it was...lol.it is almost 7pm here now! But it was just such a beautiful day today....I didn't even switch on my PC until around 5pm! Quite a task for me! ha ha.
I baked some strawberry muffins this morning...then the we had lunch and the kids and I headed to the nature reserve for 3 hours. It was lovely. We went for long walks, fed the Geese...saw some lovely flowers, a huge tortoise, beautiful birds and played pooh sticks. (Read Winnie the pooh if you don't know what I am talking about! lol!)
Here are some pictures I thought I would share with you...the rest I am going to scrap with!! Yay! New photo's to scrap with!

Isn't this so sad? He was only 4 years old! So sad..I wonder what happened...

Been MIA...

It has been a hectic time here. I have had a migraine for 13 solid days, constant,no letup. The kids has measles but were back at school on Friday. Friday after school on the way home , Em started to throw up and was screaming with pain from a headache, so the two together are never good, I rushed her straight to the doctor. But she just said it was viral and should pass, nothing serious.
Monday morning I woke up in absolute agony. Nothing like a million drums beating in your head. I couldn't walk, see, move. Was in bed until 1pm. Hubby was at home recovering from flu, so he took care of me and the kids and later took me to our homeopath who prescribed pills, which I started taking right away. Today I am fine, a bit sore if I look up or to the extreme corners, but it is gone! Amazing! All those days of taking hard-core medication which did nothing and I take a natural remedy and it works almost immediately.
anyway....First of all I am in a matchbox swap...here is mine..

I hope Rosalyn-Sue likes it. It is amazing what you can squash into one!

I also wanted to quickly remind you that the CT application runs out in 2 days, if you'd like to apply you still have time. (see post below).

I also wanted to show you these cute snaps i took today....I got this little bird feeder a while ago and have been waiting for the birds to land on it so i could sneek a few pictures. Finally today my favorite little yellow bird came to gobble some seeds and I snuck outside as quietly as I could so as not to startle him...

Some ATC's I've made lately...

I'll be back tomorrow with more..till then!
